Behind the words…
My name is Hannah, and I’m 24 years old. A few months ago, I graduated from University and celebrated 5 years since I started this blog. A lot has happened since then. The primary reason for writing this blog is to document my journey as a travel writer and photographer, and I’m taking you along with me.
There aren’t many things I’m certain of in this life, but this career path is one of the few, so I thought I’d share with you the processes of wandering and wondering that come with living in the present.
From the environment to travel, books to films or the happy days vs. the ones you want to escape, I write about all that goes on and hope to share with you the quirks I’ve found worth discussing.
A few things about me:
- I’m an avid runner and hiker and love to explore the mountains on my doorstep, be it in sunshine or torrential rain.
- I’m an experienced solo traveller and have travelled to 25 countries so far, and plan to visit many, many more.
- I’m a feminist and a strong advocate for the environment and the fight against climate and social injustices.
- Geography is my passion (and my degree), yet I also majorly obsess over films, TV shows and music because who doesn’t love finding art that makes you FEEL something?
- I frequently photograph and capture places both far away and on my doorstep.
